Housing |
The fan housing shall be constructed of heavy gauge aluminum and shall be spun on an
automatic lathe to provide consistent dimensions. Heavy gauge aluminum braces shall
provide a sturdy support for the motor. The discharge cap shall have a rolled bead
for added strength. |

Base |
The base shall be constructed of galvanized steel. Base corners shall be welded to
provide strength and to prevent leakage into the building.

Propeller |
The propeller shall be a high efficiency type fabricated design. Blades are to
die formed and securely fastened to a heavy gauge steel hub. Propeller shall
be securely fastened to the fan shaft with set screws. The propeller shall be
balanced in accordance with AMCA standard 204-96, Balance Quality and Vibration
Levels for Fans. |

Motor & Motor Compartment |
Motors shall be permanently lubricated and rated for continuous duty. An
integral electrical conduit running from the fan base to the motor area is
provided for ease of installation.
