Description: | Fan shall be of the “Square in-line” type with a square inlet and outlet. Fan shall be designed for floor mount or hung installations in-line with ducting, and have a belt driven centrifugal wheel. Fan shall be a corrosion resistant steel, belt driven, square inline blower. | ||
Application: | Square In-Line Duct Blowers are suitable for various applications. Commonly mounted indoors with both inlet and outlet ducts to supply or exhaust air. Square In-Line Duct Blowers are engineered to discharge air, fumes and other contaminants horizontally in a duct. | ||
Certifications: | Square In-line Duct Blower(s) shall be licensed to bear the AMCA Certified Ratings Seal for Air and Sound Performance and be ETL Listed to UL705 Standards. | ||
Construction: |
Square In-line Duct Blower(s) shall be constructed of steel with corrosion resistant, high solids,
enamel finish. A removable cover shall provide blower motor access, and drive access shall be
provided on both sides through removable panels. Blowers shall be belt driven; centrifugal
backward inclined, with cast iron pillow block, regreaseable ball bearings having a minimum
L50 (average) life of 200,000 hours. The shaft shall be keywayed at both ends.
Drives are to be selected for 150% of driven horsepower. Blower pulley shall be fixed, machined, cast iron. Motor pulley shall be cast iron, variable speed. |
Housing | ||
The blower shell shall be constructed of welded corrosion resistant steel with high solids and enamel finish. Side panels shall be removable for service access. | ||
Wheel | ||
Centrifugal type with 100% steel backward inclined blades. Balanced in accordance with AMCA standard 204-96, Balance Quality and Vibration Levels for Fans. | ||
Motor & Motor Compartment | ||
Motor shall have permanently lubricated ball bearings and be of voltage, phase, and enclosure as specified. A motor cover shall be supplied as standard. | ||
Shaft and Bearings | ||
Shafts shall be precision ground and polished. Bearings, selected specifically for air handling duty, and of the pillow block relubricatable type, shall be selected to have a predicted L50 life of not less than 200,000 hours at maximum cataloged operating speed. | ||
Belts & Drives | ||
Belts and drives shall be sized for a minimum of 150% of the driven BHP. Drives shall be of cast iron and keyed to the shafts. | ||
