� Fully Integrated Self Cleaning Hood
|

Manifolds and Electrical controls are directly mounted in a utility cabinet on the side of the
hood. All piping and wiring are done in the factory to minimize labor at the job site.

The operation is intuitive: At the beginning of the day the fan switch is turned ON and the
fans start running. At the end of the day, when the cooking is done, the fan switch is turned OFF,
the fans shut off and the Hot water Wash Cycle automatically starts.

If the application design does not allow for utility cabinets on the end of the hoods, then manifolds
can be ordered in a remote cabinet and piped to the hood at the jobsite.

The control panel includes a combination pressure/temperature gauge, shock absorber, pressure
reducing valve, water solenoid valve, surfactant pump, line strainer, gate valve and surfactant tank.
|

When selected, the hot water option, will provide a 3-minute wash down of the plenum and the ductwork
immediately following. Surfactant will be injected into the wash for one second, every one minute of the
cycle. Both the wash and the surfactant injection times are adjustable to meet the needs of every application.

Two versions of this panel are available. The
AM-2 with
simple controls and the SCS panel with
more advanced features. The SCS panel with its touch screen interface allows for multiple wash zones,
programmable schedule and web interface.

Selectable options:
- 3/4", 1" or 1.5" Manifold – 3/4" should be used up to 16’ of hood, 1" up to 30’ of hood and 1.5" up to 48’ of hood
- Hot Water wash, Cold Water Mist or Both
- Backflow Preventer

The AM-2 Control panel houses a plumbing enclosure providing Self Cleaning operation for ventilation hood.
ETL Listed. Complies with UL508A Standards and C22.2, No. 14-M95 and CSA 22.2, No. 73-1953 Standards.
AM-2 panel can be ordered in conjunction with a prewire for full control of the fans and wash cycle. (M40000D)
It can also be ordered with starter coil control only for both exhaust and supply fans; others provide the starters. (M41000)

the product has been tested to and has met the minimum requirements of a widely recognized
(consensus) U.S. and Canadian products safety standard, that the manufacturing site
has been audited, and that the applicant has agreed to a program of periodic factory
follow-up inspections to verify continued performance.

Self-Cleaning System Panel
|
|
The Self Cleaning System (SCS) includes a state-of-the-art controller and
touch screen for ultimate control of Self Cleaning operation for the ventilation hood. The
touch screen, located on the front of the panel allows for user-friendly programming. For the
controls, the SCS uses a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) which also serves as a web server.

- Programmable schedules for fans and Wash
- Building Management (BMS) Control
- Multiple wash Zones
- PCU Pressure switch connection for filter change indication (visual and audible with mute function)
- Electric Gas Valve Connection (integrated Reset Relay logic)
